Hilton Head Horseback Riding, A New And Refreshing Activity

Hilton Head Horse

Are you tired of the same old vacation activities?

Hilton Head horseback riding is a unique and memorable pastime worth considering that is fun for the whole family.

Having done horseback riding on Hilton Head quite a few times over the years, my family and I have found it to be one of those Hilton Head activities that is quite distinctive.

With guided tours offered on some of the island’s most tranquil trails, novice riders like me can enjoy Hilton Head’s beautiful and natural surroundings like it's never been seen before……up close!

From alligators sunning on the outer banks of lakes to birds perched in the tall Palmetto trees, I was amazed by what my family and I saw.

The horseback riding trails wind through the community's lush, maritime forests and pristine beaches as you take in panoramic views of Calibogue Sound and Hilton Head Island.

There are several different trails to choose from and each provide its own unique experience.

Ocean Front Rides between March 15th and Oct 16th - Considered the High Season for protection of nesting sea turtles, this tour offers horseback riding  along the sandy dunes, providing amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean.

You'll explore historic sites like The First African Baptist Schoolhouse where Pat Conroy taught and many more along this picturesque route that is sure to  not only capture your imagination but also transport you back into times long past.

It’s no surprise that horseback riding on the beach is one of Hilton Head's most popular activities.  So if you are looking for fun, take the reins and saddle up! Its an unforgettable activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
