Indigo Run
A Golf Community Like No Other

Considering a move to Hilton Head? Or possibly a second home?

Indigo Run may be just the community you’re looking for!

Nestled in the heart of Hilton Head, it is becoming one of the Island’s most sought after gated golf communities. Its central location provides the convenience to Hilton Head activities while maintaining the privacy of residential living.

Developed on only 1,400 acres along Broad Creek, it is by far one of the smaller gated neighborhoods in Hilton Head. Unlike Sea Pines Resort or Palmetto Dunes, there are only 1,002 home sites here. This provides an intimate and quiet setting for its residents without the hustle and bustle associated with the larger plantations.

Also, short-term rentals are prohibited (long-term available) and commercial development is practically non-existent within this community.

The community encourages a slower lifestyle pace that promotes interaction between neighbors to share common interests and recreational activities.  A sense of belonging is a way of life within this wonderful community.

With its inherent natural beauty, this premier neighborhood embodies all the qualities that Hilton Head living has to offer:

  • Abundance of wildlife native to the Island
  • Streets lined with majestic shading Oaks
  • Tranquil settings & manicured landscaping
  • Assorted recreational activities
  • Breathtaking water & golf course views
  • Extensive trail system for biking, jogging and dog walking
  • Tennis courts
  • Two golf courses: Golden Bear Golf Club & The Golf Club (Membership is optional)
  • Community amenities at Sunningdale Park

Neighborhoods

Once passed the gates, five neighborhoods await you here. Each portrays their unique vibe in Hilton Head living.

The Golden Bear neighborhood is the pictorial essence of what South Carolina low country looks like. With its mature foliage and sizable Oak trees blanketing the short cul-de-sac streets, the setting is warm and captivating for homeowners in southern living.

Within this neighborhood, the Golden Bear Golf course winds through the home sites as a picturesque backdrop often seen throughout Hilton Head.

The Berwick Green neighborhood depicts more of a cluster type community as it is the only area that allows multi family units. A collection of club homes, townhouses and garden design dwellings comprise the building styles.

Owners here benefit from their own exclusive swimming pool and are minutes away with a short walk to the Indigo Hall Community Center.

The Broad Pointe is a beautiful neighborhood that borders the banks of Broad Creek. Many homes are positioned on these outer banks in direct sight of the beautiful Hilton Head sunsets overlooking the Broad Creek marshes. Residents here have private use of the 700 foot pier that projects out into Broad Creek, as well as privileges to a restricted swimming pool and spa.

The River Club neighborhood also runs along Broad Creek providing homeowners a fantastic waterfront panorama, some with their own private docks. Residents here also have exclusive use of a private swimming pool and tennis courts.

The Golf Club is a luxurious gated community within the Indigo Run gated community. At 600 acres, this community is the most recent developed of all the neighborhoods, accommodating bigger homes and larger size lots. The Golf Club at Indigo Run (A Jack Nicklaus designed golf course) is engulfed by this neighborhood, providing many home sites with golf course and lagoon views. Membership is an option that includes golf, tennis, swimming as well as dining.

I recommend a visit Indigo Run next time you’re in Hilton Head. It’s a great location to live on the Island, whether it’s a permanent residence or a second home for vacationing.
