Sea Pines Golf
A Golfer's Dream

Deciding where to play golf in Hilton Head? Sea Pines Golf is some of the most spectacular golf I have ever played in Hilton Head.

I must warn you though, with three championship golf courses in Sea Pines Resort, your most difficult choice will be deciding which one to play....if you can't play all three.

Having played all three of these courses many times, I can tell you that each golf course has their own distinct character in design and challenge, making Sea Pines Golf one of the best experiences in the game of golf.

Harbour Town Golf Links

There is the legendary Harbour Town Golf Links which is where the PGA Tour’s RBC Heritage is played. The course is more about flair and thinking about the shot than it is about vigor due to its undersized greens and plenty of water. The 18th hole, par 4 is renowned as the most difficult as it faces picturesque Calibogue Sound and the candy-cane lighthouse.

Heron Point

Then there is Heron Point, a beautiful reconstructed golf course designed by Pete Dye. After its multimillion dollar makeover was completed in 2007, the course has become a must play for golf lovers. With a modern feeling of spectacular viewpoints and elevations, the course is both demanding and gratifying.

Ocean Course

Finally, the Ocean Course…..and what a course it is. Redesigned by Mark McCumber in 1995, the Ocean Course is classic in design with its multi lagoons and sand bunkers. But what makes this course is the 15th hole and its unbelievable Atlantic Ocean view that looks like it came straight out of a magazine. It also happens to be one of only two courses on the island that has oceanfront views.
